•Understanding of Collins' Quality Management System and related documentation and ability to revise.
•Understanding of Collins' product, drawings and other technical requirements.
•Understanding of program, contractual, industry, government or regulatory requirements.
•Ability to evaluate processes to a given standard and knowledge of process capabilities.
•Use of the seven basic Quality tools (checklist, histgrams etc).
•Identifies risks and opportunities that can affect conformity of products and services.
•Understanding and individual working level knowledge of using root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action concepts to resolve simple to moderate problems/nonconformities.
•Understanding and individual working level knowledge of data analysis.
•Maintains a working relationship with key internal peer groups, suppliers or other industry experts to benefit all stakeholders.
•Able to develop and document ideas or view points supported by objective data for small groups.

•Bachelor's degree in Engineering
•English - 90%.
•Read and Interpretation of engineering drawings (Dimension, tolerance and basic GD&T Symbology ).
•Familiar with industry specification and standards interpretation
•Familiar with inspection methods and techniques
•Knowledge in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
•Experience with continuous improvement principles, Six Sigma, lean, 5S etc.
•Familiar with problem solving techniques like PDCA
•Able to make quick decisions based in facts and risk analysis, even under high-pressured situations
•Familiar with AS9102 and or First Article Inspection process and requirements
