Is responsible for implementing, supporting, maintaining and troubleshooting the company systems infrastructure by supporting storage, backup and recovery systems.
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
•2 years minimum experience providing relevant IT support.
•2 years minimum experience with Tivoli Storage Manager
•Able to deploy, configure, and support backup client and Server systems.
•Ability to troubleshoot standard Linux/Unix and windows processes and tools relating to backups.
•Performance tuning and system optimization.
•Experience creating and managing Dataset, schedule and retention policies.
•2 years’ experience configuring windows and VMWare backups.
•Strong Knowledge of EMC disk systems and concepts
•Understanding of/experience with local/wide area networking concepts/protocols.
•Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
•Experience in mission-critical operations, ideally within a 24x7 large scale distributed and clustered environment.
•Interact with vendors in the resolution of complex problems.
•Effectively communicate with customers, help desk support personnel and senior engineers.
•Strong documentation skills with an emphasis on policies, procedures and best practices
•US Visa (travel is required)
•Advanced English proficiency
