Description of activities
-Participate in the creation of a raw-materials and fixture warehouse from the ground up.
-Promote and implement best practices for safety. Including the proper use of personal protective equipment and safe warehouse practices. Lead by example, “the safe way is the only way”.
-Promote and implement best practices for quality. Including incoming inspections, cycle counts and warehouse controls.
-Focus on continuous team member development. Build a strong cross-functional team that can handle constant growth and continuous improvement.
-Exceed customer expectations, both internal and external.
-Build strong customer-supplier relationships that focus on positive results.
-Supervise warehouse operations. Including; receiving, shipping, kitting, putting away material in rack locations, picking material, inventory control and proper inventory transactions in our MRP system.
-Implement, manage and enforce procedures that guarantee inventory accuracy.
-Supervise import and export operations. -Constant communication with our third party logistics team that includes transportation and customs broker.
-Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives with a cross functional team of peers and leaders.
-Professional career in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration or related
-Must be able to communicate in English (verbal and written).
-Minimum 3 years of combined warehouse, shipping, receiving and production experience
