Analyzes and plans the layout of machinery and processes for maximum efficiency.
Confers with and advises management team and other staff departments regarding manufacturing capabilities, restraints, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate the manufacturing process.
Completes and submits in a timely manner all required reports (internal & external).
A problem-solver and willing to take up new challenges.
Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and/or Green Belt training a plus.
Must be familiar with Progressive Manufacturing Principles, MRP systems.
SAP experience preferred and capacity planning system development.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Bilingual English / Spanish.
Ability to meet tight deadlines.
Good communication skills, leadership, customer focus, results oriented, strategic planning.
Elaboration of concise reports.
Desired over 7 years of experience in manufacturing management environment, which includes duties focused on lean manufacturing, production cost reduction, operational excellence and effective project management.
