Sr. Hr Generalist

So what does an HR Generalist really do? Think of yourself as someone who will be responsible for managing a variety of employee relations activities across our site in Tijuana. Imagine yourself going to work with one thing on your mind: driving our people first culture.

You love partnering with leaders and managing challenging employee relations situations ranging from performance management to investigations. This will require you to have autonomous thought and decision-making abilities to meet the needs of the employee population.

-You will own employee relations situations including investigations, performance and behavior management, and terminations
-Coach key business leaders on leading and managing their organizations effectively and providing advice and counsel to managers and supervisors regarding personnel practices, policy and employment laws
-Partner with leaders on corrective actions, performance improvement plans, and termination documentation
-Ensure compliance with all state and federal discrimination and employment regulations
-Oversee and complete special projects to include setting timelines, coordinating with appropriate parties, conducting research, developing and organizing information, and fulfilling transactions
-You will also approach all role responsibilities with great confidence, assertiveness and a sense of ownership.

Experiencia y requisitos


-3-5 years of experience in Human Resources including heavy experience with Employee Relations
-Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or other relevant field
-Knowledgeable in employment law and regulations including but not limited to unions, local labor laws, unemployment and labor relations
-Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite and experience with an HRIS System-based software
-Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Spanish
-An ability to plan, organize, and execute strategic initiatives to advance organizational goals and value

Nice To Have:

-Master’s degree in human resources or business
-PHR/SHRM certification
