-Responsible of ensuring that the proper planning and releases of purchase orders for parts are being send by the service global team.
-Manages and drive reduction of global service parts aging and backorders.
-Manages and drive improvement in parts fulfillment globally
-Responsible of ensuring parts of New products are in stock ahead of product launch
-Coordinating the Engineering revision changes by the Purchasing side, ensuring close communication with the Eng. Team
-Validation and optimization of the global service inventory levels, preventing shortages, excess or obsolescence
-Prioritize and assign projects, duties and tasks to cross-functional team members based on skills and abilities.
-Identify training needs and prepare the team to be successful in the job.
-Validation and constant update of all purchased service parts parameters
-Balance of the team workloads
-Formally track the deliverables of the team and keep the score cards updated, drive improvement actions as required
-Investigates discrepancies on receipt quantities, missing certifications, packing lists, etc.
-Monitors the supplier performance and action implementation as needed
-Negotiates with internal customer any problem related to shipments (delivery problems).
-Monitor the service parts invoicing process is completed on time to avoid credit holds.
-Responsible of monitoring and compliance of premium freight goals, define best freight strategy for global parts.
-Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non conformance relating to products, process quality systems and environmental management system.
-Provide solutions through established communications channels.
-Actively participate in the coordination of the End Of Life parts protection, optimizing the inventory position, while protecting the support to the customers.
-Leads the investigation, and drive completion of info records in -SAP for parts globally
-BA, BS or Engineering equivalent with a supply chain planning / materials emphasis preferred
-Strong leadership skills and data analysis with systematic approach, problem resolution and high sense of urgency
-English language skills (reading, writing and speaking) (85%)
-5+ years’ experience in the planning / purchasing functions
-Computer proficiency with MS Office applications is necessary.
-Significant experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
-Proven experience leading teams
-Strong communication skills coupled with the ability to work in a team environment is essential.
-Strong skills in capacity planning and constraint based planning.
-Ability to work on multiple task / activities
