Leading the development & execution of supplier quality strategies that delivers a competitive advantage driving the strategic supplier initiatives. This includes supplier selection, development, and supplier consolidation to ensure sourcing optimization and overall supplier performance.
Monitoring supplier quality and delivery performance and developing improvement strategies to ensure business needs are met.
Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with required external and internal stakeholders to ensure that customer requirements are understood and achieved – Suppliers, Engineering, Service, Manufacturing and Sourcing.
Driving improvements in supplier quality processes.
Assuring supplier compliance to GE Healthcare QMS and regulatory requirements.
Assuring Corrective and Preventive Action plans are developed and executed at suppliers in compliance with SCAR process.
5 years of work experience with technical depth/knowledge in supplier commodities including Electronics, Electrical/electromechanical devices, Power management/storage/distribution, High level assemblies and/or Medical Device manufacturing
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering: Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical, Biomedical, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of supplier quality/capability experience in all facets of the assigned commodities
Excellent negotiations skills and analytical skills with the ability to manage and develop supplier relationships
Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization
Proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments
Experience implementing a compliant supply chain
Greenbelt certification preferred
Electronics manufacturing experience / electronics troubleshooting knowledge
