The main responsibilities will cover a variety of legal issues concerning our manufacturing facilities across Mexico : • Providing legal advice and support on a wide range of legal activities. • Drafting and negotiating simple and complex contracts including but not limited to those related to the plant’s operation. • Provide Corporate maintenance to the company’s legal entities and assure compliance with Mexican Regulation: hold shareholder’s / partner’s meetings, grant powers of attorney, update corporate books, etc. • Ethics and Compliance and governance services. • Cooperation with the other members of the legal department abroad • To secure compliance of business operations with relevant laws and regulations. • To pro-actively create and maintain awareness of business employees for (compliance with) • relevant laws and regulations. • Ability to deliver high-quality work under deadlines. • Support the Corporate Matters Center of Excellence assisting as liason with LATAM’s in house counsels. • Assist on the coordination of complex labor matters. • Partner with ER / HR on Union related matters. • To anticipate and manage the (legal) risks connected with or resulting from the plant’s strategy and operations.
Experiencia y requisitos
• Bachelor's Degree in Law (Licenciatura en Derecho.) • Master’s degree a big plus. • 5+ years’ experience in Law Firms or Multinational Corporations with a strong relation to the Manufacturing Sector. • Strong legal experience in corporate, business, commercial, labor, unions, regulatory & administrative law. • Experience on managing external Firms. • Strong written and oral communication skills in both Spanish & English. • Litigation skills to handle administrative procedures within public authorities and court litigation. • Full understanding on compliance related matters. • Ability to interact with legal teams from different jurisdictions. • Ability to manage complex legal situations.
