The main objective of this function is to lead the quality management function in the Aerospace division. Develop and update the company's improvement map aligned with the management team. Manages and implements the applicable standards established by corporate that are useful to the operation. The scope of this work will include the development of best manufacturing practices to ensure product quality, integrity, and value through manufacturing improvements, product design, and cost reduction projects. Main responsibilities: • Manages the Quality and Test department and all its staff including special projects and daily tasks involved. • Maintain AS9100, NadCap and ISO17025 certifications required by the industry and customers. • Establish procedures to maintain quality, reliability, and safety standards. • Organize and promote quality improvement efforts throughout the company. • Evaluate and develop improvement techniques for quality control, reliability, and safety. • Has overall responsibility for implementing and enforcing the quality system in the laboratory, and the • provisions of the resources needed for laboratory operations • Directly responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the company's quality system, reporting the behavior of the quality system for review and as a basis for improving the quality system. The quality manager also has the responsibility to act as a liaison with external parties on matters related to the quality system. • Write, edit, and approve changes to the Quality System • Lead the quality management review meeting of the Quality System. • Direct and select the members of the MRB material review board. • Maintain knowledge and conformity to the quality system and production requirements. • Prepare in a timely manner the reports by the Management, as well as the specific information that provides evidence of compliance.
