The Quality Management System Engineer (QMS Engineer) will be responsible for the maintenance & improvement of the Quality Management System, the deployment of the audits & records control. S/he will also be supporting customer, product & supplier quality. -Maintain & Improve the QMS for compliance of requirements associated with ISO9001:2015 & Industry Standards such as UL & TUV. -Become the subject matter expert for QMS requirements & provide training, coaching, and directions to functional process owners. -Responsible for external customer/agency audits, visits, program reviews, source inspections: take personal ownership and follow through to ensure a lasting service impression of responsiveness & commitment -Interface, maintain & improve the company procedures & processes. -Provide support for activities required to maintain certifications/approvals for the Integrated Management System. -Responsible for internal/external audit plan & execution following regulatory, industry & internal quality guidelines -Conducts process/product audits & follow up closure of open audit findings -Support quality metrics & reports: collect, maintain, trend, & analyze data -Ensuring sustained root cause & corrective actions implementation -Product/process data collection & analysis activities -Root cause & corrective actions investigations, & continuous improvement projects -Demonstrate an active commitment to the continuous improvement of the company Operating system -Maintain a willingness to challenge established ways of doing things in a constructive way

Experiencia y requisitos

-Full understanding of ISO9001:2015 quality systems standards is essential, knowledge of UL & TUV standards is also preferred -In-depth knowledge of quality systems, policies & procedures & the ability to apply that knowledge towards the interpretation of customer requirements & system improvement -Demonstrated ability to lead & achieve results in a cross-functional team environment: strong interpersonal skills, confident & capable in various customer interaction situations -Working knowledge of quality tools & techniques for problem solving & critical thinking skills -Working knowledge of basic data collection & graphical analysis tools/techniques, knowledge of Six Sigma & Lean Manufacturing are preferred -Working knowledge of Control Plan, FMEA, APQP/Program Management -Good oral & written communication skills are essential: ability to organize complex information into meaningful structures appropriate for diverse audiences -Able to juggle multiple tasks & make quality decisions without negative impact on others -Diverse knowledge of inspection control methods, techniques & standards -Minimum 3 years of experience in quality -Engineering degree -Proficient in English (>85%) -Strong knowledge with computer systems/software: MS Power Point, Excel, Word, web-based applications
