Key Accountabilities The primary responsibilities of the Instructional Designer are to analyze a manufacturing company’s training needs, design training strategies, develop training materials, and deliver the training whenever, wherever required. Summary of Responsibilities • Extensive experience in designing and developing training strategies and materials. • Thorough knowledge and proven experience working with such departments as marketing to produce high quality print and multimedia materials. • Experience in analyzing job performance requirements and evaluating training effectiveness to meet internal client and external customer needs. • Expertise in instructor-led training and facilitation of skill-based hands-on activities. • Experience building professional relations and presenting a professional image to others. • Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand business needs and translate them into engaging blended learning solutions. • Design, create, lead complex technical training development projects and training programs independently with minimal guidance. • Consult with customers and subject matter experts to assess training needs, determine training development strategies, and propose implementation projects. • Lead projects to develop technical training programs, while meeting cost, schedule, performance, and quality goals. • Apply development processes and learning technologies in the creation and delivery of technical training programs. • Identify training industry trends and best practices for inclusion in training programs. • Evaluate training program effectiveness and improve programs based on the data.
Experiencia y requisitos
Requirements/Profile • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Technology or related field • 3 – 5 years of work experience in degree-related position Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Technology or a related field • Experience with Adobe Captivate • Experience with Workday or other Learning Management Systems (LMSs) • Prior experience working in an advanced manufacturing environment. • The ability to travel and stay overnight when required. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities • Have a passion to help create a better world and healthier planet • Ability to apply instructional design methods in an adult learning environment. • Ability to design and develop electronic learning programs using industry-standard software packages, such as Adobe and Microsoft products • Ability to learn and communicate subject matter • Ability to manage training development projects while working independently. • Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment • Demonstrate good human intuition
