Under limited supervision, the Master Scheduler develops and manages the Master Production Schedule for all end item parts. Maintains top level customer requirements to drive total manufacturing requirements. Collaborate to Improve Customer Lead Times and On Time Delivery Customer Requirement. Analyzes customer requirements and creates level-load schedules (if applicable), which satisfy customer requirements and provides a smooth production flow through work centers. Creates/submits production schedule options to Production Manager for approval. Minimizes inventory levels by accurately managing customer requirements. Leads the process for sales order change management resulting from changes in quantity, design configuration, part number, Change in Design effectivity and schedule dates. Provides MRP oversight and is the SME for MRP related issues, training and accuracy. Working with Operations, leads slow moving WIP process to ensure WIP is flowing through production.
Experiencia y requisitos
Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis Industrial Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. 5+ years’ experience in materials in a manufacturing environment. Bilingual: English- Spanish Working knowledge of kanban and supplier managed inventories is a plus. High competency level in use of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, as a minimum) Fully conversant with modern procurement and purchasing techniques. Experience of Purchasing bespoke, manufactured parts including scheduled deliveries.
