Responsible to coordinate, develop, implement and deploy proper controls to guarantee quality on the product and processes focused to continuous improvement. Assure implementation of new product/process to Mexicali Plant, considering an operational system without constrains for execution. Assure Quality Standards are implemented and followed per customer, company and regulatory (Government & FAA) requirements. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for making difficult determinations regarding the quality, safety and airworthiness of products and materials. The Quality Engineer will also partner with and give guidance to customers and suppliers to assure quality requirements and expectations are met. This position will work on the shop floor and will provide hands on support to the manufacturing processes as it relates to the detail fabrication and assembly. Assure the proper inspection methods are being developed to assure conformance of the product. Responsible to address all supplier issues thru the Non-Conformance process. Be able to lead direct and indirect people.
Experiencia y requisitos
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering • 1 to 3 years as Quality Engineer • Experience in an Aerospace Composites’ manufacturing environment (Preferable) • English spoken/negotiation/leadership/oral and write communication/analytical thinking. • Expertise on Aerospace Industry Standards (FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, etc) • Extensive knowledge of Lean Manufacturing. • GD&T Knowledge and experience. • Available to work in 2nd Shift.
