Main Responsibilities • Preparation of import-export invoices in the foreign trade system • Practical understanding of the download process in the foreign commercial system. Maintain the current balance of temporary import records vs. ERP records. Reporting the inventory control balance to the SAT each month in a timely manner. SAT DataStage file management • Registration, renewal, and maintenance of VAT/IEPS certification • Request and control of PPS, Rule 8th, PROFEPA, SEMARNAT • Process applications at Ventanilla Única (VUCEM) • Renewal and maintenance of security matrix issued by SAT • USMCA analysis (T-MEC) of finished goods, as well as the renewal and annual review of certificates of origin • Registration, classification, and labeling of Fixed Assets (temporary or definitive) • Tariff classification of raw material, finished goods, and machinery • Virtual Transfers • Support all company logistical needs (e.g., expedited freight requests, shipping labels, rate quotes, etc.) • Maintain a 96% (or higher) On-time Delivery for all northbound exports • Optimize northbound trailer space utilization • Verify Bill of Lading information accuracy for the various customers • Proactively communicate with other staff members the status of their shipments • Resolve issues in a timely manner (e.g., miss-ships, claims, etc.) • Maintain Key Performance Indicators reports • Track and process all ISF forms with the U.S. Broker for Inbond shipments • Track all inbound ocean containers through ENSENADA, making sure TELEX or BOLs and commercial invoices are provided. Process any payments to steamships and assure that all empties are returned to the port to avoid DEMURRAGE fees • Coordinate carrier pickups at the San Diego warehouse • Process carrier damage claims and maintains the report of the claim • Any other task assigned by the supervisor

Experiencia y requisitos

Requirements and Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, foreign trade, and customs, logistics, or engineering • Minimum 5 years of experience • Computer proficiency, particularly with spreadsheet programs • Team Work • Positive Attitude • Respect, Proactive Criteria, and Common Sense • Customer Service Oriented • Effective bilingual (English Spanish) communication skills, both verbal and written, at an advanced level
