Position overview: Responsible for book-keeping and accounting for Hillrom’s businesses to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, by complying with the global requirements and fiscal regulations. Key Responsibilities: • Support Welch Allyn book-keeping and accounting, including month, quarter and year end reporting of Global Companies within corporate policies and deadlines. • Professionally interact with Hillrom’sstaff to understand and support to any reporting requirements, issues/queries. • Professionally interact with Hillrom’s external/internal auditors by preparing documentation as required, to comply with different regulations. • Account reconciliations, intercompany accounting reconciliations and payments. • Support in the coordination of indirect tax returns globally • May support Cash flow management and analysis • May support fixed assets accounting and controlling • The preparation of financial reports as requested for various purposes • Various tax statistical reporting every month as required. • Ad hoc functions and tasks which arise during the normal course of business in a busy finance department.

Experiencia y requisitos

Educación requerida – Education required: • Diploma or certification in accounting (preferred) Experiencia deseable – Desirable experience: • Accounting knowledge within a multi-company environment. Experience over 2 years • Previous experience in Audit desirable • Experience in US-GAAP, IFRS will be an advantage • Diploma or certification in accounting is preferred • Knowledge/experience of SAP, Oracle or similar financial systems in a multi-currency and multi-company environment • Proficient general computer skills. Knowledge of Excel and MS Word, or equivalent spreadsheet and word processing applications is required Bilingual: Oral and written communication in English is a must for this position.
