A CAM operator able to: • Run CNC machines • Help with the creation of functional and non-functional prototypes as well as low volume or short run production. • The CNC Operator should be able to run 3-axis HAAS VF-7, VF-3 machines. • He or she must be able to efficiently machine with a large spectrum of materials, examples are soft and rigid foams, acrylics, nylons, ABS, POM, wood, aluminum etc. • Competence of operating a CNC machine is needed. • Some skills are taught on the job.
Experiencia y requisitos
The duties consist of but not limited to: • CAM Software operation • Print Reading • Material preparation • Machine setup • Machine maintenance • Inventory Counts • Machine area Clean up • Scrap disposal • On-time completion of parts • Good quality of parts machined • Flexibility to work different schedules that include weekends and overtime • Experience of machine shop knowledge, handling equipment safely and securely, with a minimum 4 years of CNC operation. 3 axes HAAS machining center experience is preferred but not necessary. • Other languages: Basic English, able to read and operate a control panel
