The Trade Compliance Analyst ensures that the compliance team is developing and maintaining customs compliance procedures to ensure that our company operates in conformity with customs regulations. They are also responsible for measuring departmental process ratings, monitoring regulatory and legislative changes, as well as overseeing and guiding trade compliance analysts in the execution of their daily activities. • Preparation and review of reports requested by the authorities (Annual Report, Sub-maquila). • Application of benefits in the Inventory Control System "Annex 24". • Preparation of procedures before the Ministry of Economy, SAT, VUCEM, or other relevant authorities. • Management and control of Origin Certifications, Prosec, Eighth Rule, and COFEPRIS permits. • Preparation of USMCA analysis. • Management of internal audits. • Reconciliation of customs declarations in the Inventory Control System vs Discrepancies. • Implementation and establishment of customs policies and procedures. • Application of specific customs regulations (9801, etc.). • Support to Internal Departments. • Analysis of updates in customs regulations. • Guidance and support in IMMEX, CIVA, OEA/CTPAT. • Management of systems for Annex 24 and excellence in the use of Office, especially Excel. • Knowledge in clearance and material structure.

Experiencia y requisitos

• Minimum 2.5 to 3 years of experience in the position or equivalent. • Computer knowledge: Microsoft Office. • Handling of Annex 24: Intrade, Millenium, I-Xport (preferably). • Lead, evaluate, and make recommendations based on risks and audits. • Support and train staff on regulations, policies, and best practices. • Create, update, and supervise customs regulatory documentation and processes. • Cultivate relations with other departments to encourage communication. • Collaborate with the manager to minimize the impact of regulatory changes. • Work with internal and external partners to document, control, and implement processes. • Review transactional government data versus our system. • Support department efforts to determine, audit, record, and communicate required data. • Identify areas of non-compliance and bring them to the attention of management for corrective actions. • Respond to and support internal and external requests. • Implement logs to monitor department activities.
