• Monitors and reviews inventories temporality, submits permit extensions as required with the support of the import/export department to the Mexican authorities such as (COFEPRIS/SEMARNAT etc.) • Able to identify differences in the type of product and packaging. • Coordinate transportation for imports and exports of the company in a timely manner. • Keep an accurate report of imported raw materials vs. physical inventory in the plant • Follow up on the creation of purchase orders and coordinate air, sea, or land shipments and tracking of shipments from port to port. • Work with purchasing and engineering for the creation and classification of new part numbers as well as changes to the BOM’s that result from manufacturing changes. • Cycle counting of finished products and raw materials or as needed to maintain a well-balanced inventory. • Special projects, as needed.
