This position will conduct product complaint data analysis for Hill-Rom products and its subsidiaries to support post market surveillance activities. The Specialist, QA Data Analyst, will be responsible for obtaining, interpreting and presenting data for the corporate QA/RA Post Market Surveillance team. This includes querying, cleaning data, programming reports and implement solutions in order to achieve and maintain a state of business excellence for Hill-Rom. Other duties may be assigned and, as part of all job duties, employees are entrusted with a permanent mission of research and invention. RESPONSABILITIES: Independently process high volumes of data following established procedures and work instructions. Ability to collect and aggregate data from multiple databases while validating data integrity and accuracy. Work with global entity personnel to ensure data processing is consistent from location to location. Take concepts and high-level direction in order to successfully translate data into appropriate analysis and visualization. Develop intuitive, coherent and easy to follow reports in different software programs that align with quality requirements and information requests. Ability to work within a team environment in order to achieve the department deadlines and goals. Works independently and with different functions/ sites of the organization to resolve complex issues. Adapts to changes in the work environment; manages competing demands; changes approach or method to best fit the situation; able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. Willing to travel (5%-10%) as business responsibilities require.
Experiencia y requisitos
Education required: Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Informatics degree or data analysis professional certifications or 4-years of verifiable experience. Desirable experience: 2 years of experience in a similar position. Solid foundation in descriptive and inferential statistics. Good written and verbal skills as well as good interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills. Experience in resolving issues for internal and external customers. Ability to work within deadlines, and work on multiple projects accurately and efficiently. Some experience with QSR, Medical Device Regulation, and ISO Quality System is preferred. Ability to make effective presentations to all levels of the organization desired. Attention to detail and accuracy is required. Ability to function as an individual contributor within a team. Demonstrated strong proficiency with Microsoft systems (Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint) and Agile. Advanced Excel and VBA required. Bilingual: Oral and written communication in English required
