SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Sr. Human Resources HR Rep is responsible for providing comprehensive HR assistance to various departments within the plant. This role focuses on fostering a positive work environment, ensuring effective communication, and supporting HR functions to enhance employee relations and operational efficiency.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
• Legal Compliance & Policy Adherence: Stay informed about and ensure compliance with labor laws, company regulations, and applicable policies.
• Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution: Advise managers and supervisors on addressing employee issues such as misconduct, absenteeism, and performance concerns. Recommend appropriate corrective actions in line with legal requirements and company policies.
• Promotions & System Updates: Process promotions and update employee information in the Tress and OA systems.
• Employee Engagement: Foster a positive work environment by maintaining regular communication with supervisors and employees. Organize periodic meetings to address relevant topics and promote effective communication. Implement engagement programs.
• Recognition Programs: Assist in administering recognition programs, including those for employee tenure and other initiatives.
• Documentation & Record Management: Process and verify various HR documents related to personnel changes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Special Projects: Participate HR projects as assigned, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Exit Interviews: Conduct exit interviews with departing employees and report findings to the department manager to identify areas for improvement.
• Service Monitoring: Monitor and report any issues related to the services provided to employees, ensuring timely resolution and continuous service improvement.
• Compliance & Safety: Collaborate with the EHS team to promote a culture of safety and conduct compliance audits.
• Support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
Experiencia y requisitos
Required Skills and Abilities:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in an HR support role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Skills:
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
• Proficiency in HRIS and other relevant software applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Languages: Advanced English level.
