Descripción y detalle de las actividades

Accountable for overall performance and quality of the operations within the warehouse, receiving, shipping, production control and inventory control including proactively mitigating risks to the operations.


  1. Develop, recommend, and effectively execute advanced logistics and warehousing strategies in support of new and existing business objectives.
  2. Appraise service levels across assigned facilities, suppliers and stores; and provide guidance to address gaps identified in product supply performance.
  3. Accountable for the overall accuracy of the database at assigned facility. -
  4. Drive appropriate team-based sourcing recommendations that drive total value to the operations. -
  5. Collaborate with Corporate, Group and cross-functional personnel, both domestic and global, to ensure alignment of key strategic objectives.
  6. Advise level management on comprehensive business and market intelligence data including strategic opportunities and value-added solutions related to transportation, warehousing, service, supply chain trends, etc.
  7. Effectively communicate team’s progress and value to top management
  8. Ensure appropriate monitoring, management and transportation supplier performance, inventory metrics, on-time delivery, dock-to-stock and the cash-to-cash cycle.
  9. Prepare annual department budgets and establish controls to maintain objectives.
  10. Lead and ensure compliance with company principles, policies and legal requirements related to EHS to include CTPAT, OSHA, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and IATF16949

Experiencia y requisitos

  1. 3-5 years’ experience monitoring and controlling and inventory levels very closely
  2. Cycle counts expertise
  3. Develops and implements systems and strategies for accurately managing inventory.
  4. Bilingual
  5. Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
  6. Supplier and production planning experience.
  7. Ability to work effectively within a matrix environment
  8. Experience utilizing financial and data-driven techniques to make decisions; proven experience negotiating with freight and logistics providers
  9. Knowledge and participation in LEAN activities, including participation in Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and other continuous improvement activities.
