Descripción y detalle de las actividades

- Experienced Manufacturing Engineering manager who provides leadership and drives results to accomplish our short and long-term goals. -Directs and coordinates the activities of a team of 5-8 manufacturing engineers. -Creates a culture of safety, quality, compliance, and continuous improvement. - Communicates and collaborates with key stakeholders to achieve organizational alignment and influence strategy and policy. -Acts as liaison with engineering in releasing new products. -Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. - Performs all required management responsibilities including but not limited to: implementing the company's policies, programs, and guidelines; ensuring employee productivity and growth; managing resources; knowing our business; and maintaining functional, technical, and external market awareness necessary for managing immediate organization. -Role will include interaction with other sites and operations, and with other business functional areas such as Service and R&D. - Role will require local and international travel.

Experiencia y requisitos

-Must have Visa to be able cross to the USA -Ability, competence, and confidence to lead people. -Effective interpersonal skills. -Understanding of business financials. Experience with Operations finance, particularly standard product costing and cost benefit analysis. Program/project planning and management experience. Knowledge and experience with Lean Mfg, DOE, Dfx, JIT, 6-sigma, or similar principles. -Familiarity with process controls, pFMEA’s, and process validations including IQ, OQ, PQ, and TMV. Knowledge of structured problem solving and investigation techniques such DMAIC or 8D. Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday or equivalent) and ERP/MES (e.g., SAP or equivalent) product and productivity software desired. -Understanding of Engineering requirements for the healthcare equipment industry, particularly those found with FDA and ISO13485. Familiarity and working abilities with: Project Planning, charting and presentations, financial models. -Typical Education and Experience: Bachelors Degree or equivalent. 8 years of related experience. 3 years management experience or supervisory equivalent.
