BREG Inc., a leading manufacturer in the sports medicine industry, is currently searching for a Production Supervisor for our Mexicali plant. Headquarter is in Carlsbad, Ca. and our center of excellence for manufacturing in Mexicali is continuously ranked as a Great Place to Work in Mexico. The Production Supervisor plans, coordinates and supervises the Production/Manufacturing process of existing and new products, as well as its production lines ensuring the Quality System procedures regulated under FDA, ISO13485:2016 and MDSAP standards.
Experiencia y requisitos
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: •Plans and directs production activities and establishes production priorities for products in keeping with effective Safety, QA and Operations factors such as On Time Delivery, Productivity and Efficiency. •Maintains an effective department that is appropriately staffed and personnel are properly qualified and trained; guides, supervises and manages function to ensure that activities are performed in accordance with established company policies and procedures. •Manages administrative related activities for direct labor reports. •Achieves or exceeds established production and QA control standards to meet manufacturing goals. •Elimination of process Waste (non value added activities). •Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices. •Responsible for achieving desired results by leading, creating and maintaining a Culture of Accountability. REQUIREMENTS: •2- 3 years experience as a production supervisor •Bachelor´s degree in engineering or similar. •Experience in line balancing (adjusting to changing demand). •Experience in Root Cause Analysis tools. •Experience in Lean Manufacturing environments is desired. •English spoken 70% as minimum.
