- Assist management to establish roles and responsibilities of purchasing goals - Drive for Inventory Turn Over improvement per site targets - Manage and optimize inventory at target levels - Drive for 100% supplier on time delivery - Initiate inventory control/cost containment to yield Purchase Price Variance - Assist in sourcing of new supply bases for competitive pricing, quality and reliable products - Supervise the team in the management of the supply chain to achieve continuous timely supply of parts and services - Work closely with the team to ensure purchasing compliance to corporate directives - Review controls to reduce exposures on End of Life Projects to minimize exposure on obsolete stock - Support corporate excess materials internal programs (as appropriate) - Analyze, negotiate and manage both new and existing suppliers for lead-time, payment terms and cost reduction - Deal with day-to-day operational issues with staff - To supervise and coordinate the activities of the department staff related to the purchasing of equipment, materials, and operating supplies. - Supervise the purchasing all equipment, materials, parts, and supplies required by the company - Management of loss prevention by implementing purchasing policies, procedures, and systems within the guidelines of the company purchasing programs. - Internationals negotiations.
