The Regulatory Compliance Engineering Manager is responsible for proactively managing the Regulatory Compliance function with regard to product compliance and certification, environmental compliance and other regulatory requirements. Must have experiences with Marine Electronics Directive (MED) and Radio Equipment Directive (RED). He is responsible for understanding Global, Regional and Local regulation requirements, ensuring supplied items meet all regulatory specifications. The life cycle of this responsibility spans from Design and Development through Production and End of Life. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage the Regulatory Compliance Function. Working with R&D and Project Management, evaluate New Product Development (NPD). - Participate as a team member during New Product Development. - Create and maintain Technical Construction File . - Determines Regulatory Requirements. - Responsible for obtaining Certifications from Notified Bodies and other Agencies. Work with Internal and External Customers to validate environmental compliance. Complete special projects arising from Compliance issues and other tasks as assigned.
