Work on IT Helpdesk support tickets to troubleshoot issues with desktop computers, laptops, printers, handhelds and cell phones. • Creates preventive and corrective maintenance programs for computer and printer equipment. • Assist onsite and remote employees with their computer and software issues. • Software installation and basic network troubleshooting. • Imaging computers and desktop/laptop setup. • Document resolution and follow up with trouble tickets. • Support manufacturing IT equipment. • Support audio-visuals request or issues on events or meetings. • Manages assets lifecycle for computers, laptops and cellphones. • Creation and unlock of user’s accounts. • Attend tickets when higher Tier engineers are needed. • Enforce IT standards and educate employees about compliance issues. • Manages and track IT inventory, by making sure we know exactly what is available. • Involved in the purchasing lifecycle of equipment to add new stock to the inventory. • Works closely with HR to support the successful onboarding and off-board process. • Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.

Experiencia y requisitos

Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3 years of experience. English 80% mandatory • Technical aptitude to learn and follow instructions. • Strong attention to detail • Ability to research solutions and work independently on tasks • Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively and efficiently • Excellent organization and prioritization skills • Excellent decision-making skills • Resolves all IT issues quickly and effectively while maintaining a good relationship with the client. • Broad knowledge of Windows client/server network environment • Strong troubleshooting skills of Windows operating system and Microsoft Office issues • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Demonstrated ability to work in teams and individually with minimal supervision • Work efficiently and independently; project management skills
