Summary The SOX Specialist will be a critical component of the global SOX Project Management Office (PMO) and will support the Poly financial compliance efforts within the Controllership organization. The role will support the Business Process Owners (BPOs) by coordinating timing and delivery of requests from both internal and external auditors as well as responding to inquiries from and providing training to the BPOs. This role will assist in the creation and updating of process flows and control documentation, performing walkthroughs of processes and controls, identifying and assessing key control assertions, compliance risks and documenting control deficiencies and remediation efforts. This position will collaborate with various business and IT departments and control owners as part of the team who assesses operational and SOX risks and exposures and executes SOX control self-assessments. Additionally, this role will support the quarterly and annual financial close process by assisting in the execution of critical quarter-end SOX control activities. What you’ll do: • Develop templates and processes to be used by process owners and internal auditors as single source of truth for all SOX documentation and testing • Assist in the creation and maintenance SOX PMO standardized tools and templates to be used by program stakeholders to efficiently and effectively complete work required • Assist in maintain the SOX Program internal web space and evangelize/promote use of web space to business process owners and key stakeholders throughout the company • Work with Financial Compliance Manager and business process owners to identify areas of opportunity to optimize processes and controls • Create flowcharts and edit supporting narratives to illustrate business processes and control environment • Track progress of SOX and update the status reporting that is shared with stakeholders.
Experiencia y requisitos
