Material & Process Engineers are responsible for providing leadership to support production and business unit objectives on special processes such as painting, welding, chemical, heat treat and composite . This position allows you to utilize your knowledge and experience as material and process methods and techniques, to lead a team on implementing improvements on existenting processes, performing installations, qualification for new equipment and developing new materials. As a Material & Process Engineer, you will be contributing to the final assembly of these services for our customers.
• Evaluate and introduce new materials as well as develop and improve current materials on use .
• Lead projects to improve safety, costs, quality and delivery on time to customers.
• Develop and write M&P procedures to assure the correct manufacturability of products.
• Periodically analysis of QA LAB test results and define actions to assure manufacturability of products.
BS Chemical/Material&Process/ Metallurgic/Mechanical/Aerospace Degree
+5 years of experience in similar position (Aerospace Industry)
Operations experience ( Heat Treat, Welding, Chemical,Painting)
Strong knowledge and experience about NADCAP Requirements.
Verifiable Experience with NADCAP Audits.
Knowledge about AS9100
Experience with PFMEA, SPC and Root Cause Analysis
Train and certify staff
Geometric Tolerances & Dimensions
Strong analytical, numerical and reasoning abilities with a bias for action.
