Descripción y detalle de las actividades

• Provide leadership for the successful day-to-day operation of the plant.
• Ensures organizational compliance with existing standards (ISO9001, AS9100C, NADCAP)
• Work closely with quality personnel and manufacturing engineering to review product and process consistency while monitoring scrap rates to determine trends and areas of improvement.
• Work closely with New Product Introduction engineering to ensure meeting customer product development committed dates while achieving process/product quality targets
• Ensures quality management system; ISO-9001 and AS-9100 is followed by all Operations employees and that responsibilities for enhancing Quality System Objectives are driven throughout the organization.
• Identifies and resolves resource constraints in meeting customer requirements and Quality System Objectives.
• Review established production schedules for all manufacturing departments to insure established WIP levels and flow are met while operating at the highest efficiency possible.
• Monitor operation expenses and research ways to reduce costs while maintaining product quality and safety in the process.
• Maintain and support a superior safety and housekeeping program, including all timely communication initiatives.
• Coordinate the hiring and training of all manufacturing & staff personnel.
• Conduct performance appraisals and provide coaching and guidance to all operation employees.
• Encourage and promote operating in a continuous improvement environment.
• Remove waste and constraints from the production process to improve efficiencies and enhance productivity.
• Work with managers to achieve annual cost savings plan.
• Identification of “high-potential” employees coupled with action plans to grow the individual.

Experiencia y requisitos

• University Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing / Preferably Master in Productive Systems / Productivity / Quality
• Advanced English Level (Oral and written)
• Knowledge of ISO 9001. AS 9100, NADCAP
• From 5 to 10 Experience in a similar position,
• Green Belt Certification
