Manufacturing Supervisor / 2nd shift

Supervises and coordinates the activities of the personnel who are involved in production process to ensure the continuous flow of work, as well as project compliance according to quantity and quality specifications. Study the production programs and estimate the man hour requirements to complete the assigned work. Analyze and solve work problems or assist employees in solving work related problems. Conducts performance assessments of its subordinates and recommends relevant development plans. Recommends or initiates personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers, casualties, ethical and disciplinary measures. Gets involved in supervisorial tasks of knowing employee’s skills and hears any personal issue that the employees must assure their wellbeing while performing the job as operators. Responsible for ensuring that the pre-payroll of the personnel assigned is correct, as well as ensuring that delivering the formats for processing performance bonuses properly reviewed and delivered on time. Ensures that the personnel under their responsibility are properly trained in the assigned process. Tracks the integration and performance of new hires. Keeps records about times and production KPI’s. Has meetings with other supervisors to coordinate the activities of the individual departments. Develops, modifies, and maintains the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of the production function. Supports other additional functions to the position related to personnel control. Participate in the performance of the environmental management system in accordance with current roles and responsibilities. Lead multifunctional teams (quality and engineering peers) to reach established objectives. Follow up production plan. Ensure DHR paperwork is filled correctly.
