Facilities Engineer

Experience: B.A. or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Electromechanical or Industrial Engineering. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work on several projects in parallel in a fast-paced environment. Interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal skills to facilitate effective communication, in English and Spanish. Practical knowledge in managing permits, registrations, and licenses from municipal, state, and federal authorities (STPS, SPA, SEMARNAT, etc.). Experience in personnel management and high response capacity in crisis situations. Experience in budget management, preparation and control of maintenance budgets, resource optimization, and cost reduction. Experience in the management, planning, and execution of facility improvement projects and in the coordination of contractors and suppliers. Preferred Qualifications: Deep knowledge of Official Industrial Safety and Hygiene Standards (STPS), hazardous waste management, and environmental protection. Knowledge, training, and experience in emergency response plans to respond to fires, earthquakes, or other events. Knowledge of mechanics, electronics and automation. Proficiency in office suites, especially Excel and design software such as AutoCAD Proficiency in using data analysis tools and spreadsheets to supervise and analyze data. The ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve maintenance-related issues and challenges. Continuous Learning in industry trends.

For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Administration, or related field. 5+ years of confirmed experience in a related role, with some combination of experience in key functional roles: Continuous improvement, Operations, Operational excellence. Good knowledge in core OPEX tools, VSA, Line balancing, Heijunka, Jidoka, 3P and strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive decision-making. Experience in manufacturing environments. Experience in cultural transformations. Ability to work in cross functional teams. Good communication skills, bilingual in English and Spanish: Proficient in both written and spoken languages. Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, TPM, 5S, etc. methodologies. Process analysis, value stream mapping (VSM), operational indicators. Data analysis tools (advanced Excel, Power BI, Minitab, etc.). Analytical thinking and results oriented. Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: Master’s degree in administration, Quality, or related fields is desirable. Experience in Lean/Six Sigma projects (preferably with Green Belt certification). Project management (PMP certification or similar)
