ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Procure electronic components, fabricated parts, and indirect materials in line with specifications and demand. Create, release, and manage purchase orders using ERP/MRP systems. Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships; monitor supplier performance on cost, delivery, and quality metrics. Negotiate pricing, lead times, and contract terms to achieve cost savings and secure supply. Work with Customer Service, Engineering, Production, and Quality to resolve material shortages or quality concerns. Ensure accurate purchasing and inventory data within the ERP system. Arrange transportation and logistics for inbound materials. Collaborate with Accounting on invoice reconciliation and returns. Drive and support Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives in the supply chain. Actively participate in cross-functional problem solving and team projects. Maintain compliance with company quality and safety policies. QUALIFICATIONS Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred. And/ Or 2+ years of purchasing experience in manufacturing; electronics/EMS industry preferred. Strong ERP/MRP system experience (Epicor, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
