Descripción y detalle de las actividades

  • Calculate standard costs for finished goods and work-in-process (WIP) for SCPT & POD.
  • Variance Analysis between actual and standard costs (material, labor, and overhead) and look for areas for improvement.
  • Inventory Control, through monthly reconciliations and physical audits on the production floor.
  • Allocate manufacturing overhead (MOH)
  • Prepare ledger entries for material consumption, inventory adjustments, Expense allocations for SCPT & POD.
  • Month end / Year end closing, actively support on reporting and financial audit
  • Work with US FP&A team on Budget & Forecast preparation support, annual manufacturing costs and financial forecasting.
  • Scrap reports valuation / Audit
  • Physical inventory support
  • Prepare monthly SCPT & POD CPU analysis and review with Plant Management and present in ME close meeting.
  • Act as liaison between Accounting and Operations for Mexico
  • Good understanding of production floor to provide inputs to accounting
  • Conducting GEMBA walks with supervisors to understand production variances
  • Participating in daily production meetings
  • Work closely with engineering for BOM development, Routings and time studies
  • Set up cost accounting on ERP (Odoo & D365) and cost roll up
  • Review and pre-approve POs
  • Fixed assets management including Physical inventory
  • Monitor obsolescence and recommend reserves for slow-moving or excess inventory.
  • Determine break-even points and contribution margins per product line.
  • Work with Senior Controller and US Accounting team on periodic SCPT bill rate analysis.
  • Review costs associated with shelf stock.

Experiencia y requisitos

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • 2 Years of Cost Accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of standard costing, variance analysis, inventory accounting, and manufacturing overhead allocation.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • ERP knowledge (Odoo & D365 is a plus)
  • Understanding of financial statements and manufacturing accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Excel
  • English fluent (written and verbal)
