The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading Employee Relations, Recruiting, and Compliance functions while ensuring adherence to company policies, labor laws, and applicable regulations. This role serves as a strategic business partner to leadership, provides support to employees, manages the HR team, and ensures continuous improvement of Human Resources processes, as well as compliance with certifications and audits required for site operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and coordinate Human Resources plans, policies, and procedures for site employees.
- Develop, implement, and maintain personnel policies and the employee handbook.
- Lead and oversee recruiting, selection, hiring, onboarding, and employee relations activities, ensuring fairness, consistency, and compliance.
- Manage, coach, and develop HR Administrators and HR Generalists.
- Act as a resource and advisor to managers and employees on employee relations and workplace issues.
- Handle employee counseling, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions up to and including termination.
- Support and monitor training programs including interviewing skills, handbook review, onboarding, and harassment prevention.
- Conduct routine plant tours and internal audits related to attendance, HR records, and policy compliance.
- Prepare responses and manage cases related to unemployment claims or other labor/legal matters, working closely with in-house legal counsel.
- Present HR-related information during employee meetings and organizational forums.
- Establish clear and measurable HR objectives aligned with site KPIs and organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with all required certifications and standards (ISO, RBA, ANSI, IPC, etc.).
- Maintain accurate documentation, records, and evidence for internal and external audits.
- Support additional HR functions as required by the organization.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 6 years of Human Resource Manager experience.
- Strong background in recruiting and employee relations.
- Previous experience leading and managing HR teams.
