The Demand Analyst is responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the customer demand signal within our ERP system. This role acts as the primary gatekeeper of the forecast, ensuring that sales orders, historical trends, and market intelligence are translated into an actionable plan. A critical component of this role is the proactive management of ERP exception messages to mitigate supply chain disruptions before they occur.


Key Responsibilities

  • Demand Analysis and Maintenance
  • Manage and update the demand module within the ERP to ensure 100% data accuracy.
  • Monitor the synchronization with customer portals.
  • Execute weekly and monthly forecast uploads, ensuring the proper alignment of demand.
  • Partner with Account Managers to validate customer-specific demand fluctuations.
  • Exception Message Management
  • Daily review of ERP exception messages (e.g., "Cancel Order," "Reschedule In," "Reschedule Out," or "Past Due Demand").
  • Analyze the root cause of "Stock Out" or "Excess Inventory" alerts and coordinate with Supply Planning to resolve them.
  • Escalate significant demand-to-supply gaps that threaten Customer Service Level (CSL) targets.

Experiencia y requisitos

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, or Engineering.
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and interpreting complex data into conclusions for management.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Advance proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Big data, and tasks automation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
  • Experience in Demand Planning, Inventory Management or Production Control. (Preferred).
