- Regulation (setting standards on working conditions).
- Inspection (ensure compliance with established regulations such as the Health and Safety Manual).
- Education (health promotion by publishing information on assorted topics, carrying out health campaigns and promoting awareness of general health topics).
- Medical care for general illnesses and work-related accidents when required.
- Performing medical exams (entry, special and laboratory medical examinations for personnel in critical areas).
- Support in inspection tours to identify unsafe acts and conditions and register findings.
- Follow-up and supervision of compliance with corrective measures related to occupational accidents to avoid recurrence.
- Compliance with procedures related to occupational hazards.
- Epidemiological analysis (register detected pathologies).
- Prepare statistics on occupational risk and disability, including:
- Number of accidents
- Days lost due to disability
- Severity of accidents
- Perform Work Accident Analysis related to statistical trends.
- Supervision of personnel (if the annual evaluation of occupational risks requires it).
- Worker health surveillance (regarding occupational hazards and general illnesses, as well as early disease detection).
- Liaison with external institutions through health programs (dental services, opticians, addiction prevention, vaccination campaigns, etc.).
- Actively participate in continuous improvement activities (Kaizen, Lean events, etc.).
Experiencia y requisitos
- Bachelor's Degree in Medicine (Professional License required).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in General and Occupational Health Medicine.
- Basic knowledge of Industrial Safety and Hygiene regulations (NOMs).
- Knowledge of legal compliance in Occupational Health matters.
- Knowledge of Ergonomics.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Knowledge of IMSS procedures (medical service).
- Knowledge of Tress System (desired).
- English proficiency: 70%.
