Engineering Manager

Essencial funtions and duties

• Develop and monitor work plans and programs for the engineering area.
• Implement improvement projects to increase efficiency and quality in engineering work.
• Ensure that design changes, drawings, and specifications requested by clients are implemented promptly.
• Ensure the availability of direct support to the production area.
• Approve and implement procedures applicable to the department's operations.
• Coordinate and monitor changes requested by the client.
• Authorize and control the engineering work hours budget.
• Monitor all training, talent identification, and organizational development.
• Follow up on all audits and requirements.
• Drive and support initiatives that foster a positive work environment.
• Provide coaching in the development of key roles and responsibilities.
• Promote participation in continuous improvement initiatives within your department.
• Monitor strategic plans and programs designed to develop the organization's intellectual capital, from their inception to their return on investment.
