Especialista EHS (Temporal - cubrir incapacidad)

Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs with a strong focus on environmental compliance, waste management, regulatory requirements, risk analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Develop, implement, and maintain environmental, health, and safety programs, procedures, and controls in compliance with applicable federal, state, and corporate regulations.
• Coordinate and maintain environmental regulatory compliance activities, including:
• Federal COA (Cédula de Operación Anual)
• State COA requirements
• Environmental permits and operating licenses
• Generator registrations for hazardous and special handling waste
• Preventive Environmental Impact Reports and applicable environmental submissions
• Develop, implement, and maintain Hazardous Waste and Special Handling Waste Management Plans.
• Coordinate hazardous waste management activities, including segregation, storage, labeling, inspections, manifests, and final disposal with authorized vendors.
• Follow up and ensure compliance with environmental reporting requirements and applicable legal obligations.
• Develop and update risk assessments for machinery, equipment, processes, and environmental aspects.
• Evaluate and approve modifications to facilities, machinery, equipment, and processes from an EHS and environmental perspective.
• Create, implement, and maintain emergency response plans in coordination with emergency brigades and government authorities.
• Conduct environmental and safety inspections, audits, and compliance evaluations.
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions derived from inspections, incidents, audits, and risk assessments.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors according to regulatory and corporate requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to environmental performance, waste reduction, sustainability, and EHS compliance.
