Descripción y detalle de las actividades
- Develop, implement, and oversee workplace safety, hygiene, and environmental programs aligned with ISO 45001, AS9100, and other applicable regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, safety inspections, incident investigations, and root cause analyses to prevent workplace accidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Maintain compliance with aerospace industry standards and customer-specific requirements related to safety and hygiene.
- Lead safety training initiatives, including emergency response, PPE use, lockout/tagout (LOTO), chemical handling, ergonomics, and safe manufacturing practices.
- Manage industrial hygiene programs, including air quality monitoring, noise exposure assessments, and hazardous materials management.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness plans, drills, and response teams.
- Track, analyze, and report safety performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend improvement strategies.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping in accordance with regulatory and corporate requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety into engineering, production, and maintenance processes.
- Promote a strong safety culture through communication, coaching, and behavior‑based safety initiatives.
Experiencia y requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in EHS roles, preferably in aerospace, automotive, or advanced manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of NOM standards (if applicable), ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and AS9100 requirements.
- Experience conducting safety training and incident investigations.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, highly regulated manufacturing environment.
