Descripción y detalle de las actividades

• Participates in creating Lean deployment plans.

• Creates, maintains and improve lean documentation (process map, procedures, forms,etc)

• Communicates progress.

• Links projects to SQDPC initiatives. • Evaluate improvement initiatives against quantifiable KPI’s to measure effectiveness, taking action when necessary.

• Assist with, facilitate or lead kaizen and continuous improvement events.

• Assist with event planning, tracking, and monitoring.

• Along with lean technician, ensures that plant layout is maintained and aligned with current needs & future projects.

• Increase FOD awareness and control across the organization.

• Train the trainer approach.

• Drives for perfection towards stretch targets.

• Maintains open line of communication.

• Coaches and mentor operations and functional leaders in regard to implementation of Lean tools (e.g. 6S, Built in Quality, Total Production Maintenance, VSM, Kaizen, etc.) and Lean management systems (e.g. Tier accountability meetings / governance, Kamishibai, Morning Market, Quality Clinic,etc.), through Gemba walks on Shop Floor.

• Drives Continuous Improvement across the plant, through processes like Quick&Easy Kaizen and Recognition systems.

• Gather and document knowledge sharing, including best practices & lessons learned, to integrate into the Company’s.

• Actively participates in Communication.

• Provide training on Lean tools and principles to employees, as necessary.

Experiencia y requisitos

• Lean/Six Sigma Methodologies

• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing environments.

• Experience in diverse functions (such as Engineering, Materials, Operations or Quality) is a plus.

• Certified as Green Belt (strongly preferred). • Advanced Excel

• AutoCAD or similar

• Fast learner

• English 90%

• Aerospace industry or sheet- metal forming manufacturing plants experience (strongly preferred)

• Complies with all company policies, behaviors, procedures and safety standards

• Well organized to manage multiple competing priorities in parallel.

• Team member and to be able to influence in Corporate Initiatives decision.
