Logistics Supervisor

Supervise and coordinate all Logistics activities and resources that allow an efficient delivery of our Products, meeting all requirements for each Customer an in accordance to internal requirements, optimizing resources and meeting Quality standards and delivery times established in the Shipment Schedule.

Main Responsibilities:

• Coordinating and supervising import and export logistics operations under the IMMEX program between Mexicali and Calexico, ensuring compliance with the shipping plan and the On Time Delivery (OTD) objective established by Management.
• Coordinate daily and weekly shipment plans in collaboration with Production Planning, schedules shipments based on requirements and customer commitments, and manages changes, rescheduling, or cancellations as needed.
• Oversee the proper execution of cross-border movements of raw materials and finished goods in both directions, ensuring all required documentation is complete and available in a timely manner.
• Maintains constant communication with the Calexico warehouse to ensure timely arrival and departure of finished goods scheduled for customer pick-up, as well as with carriers assigned by customers and/or the Sales Department to provide necessary documentation and information for pick-up scheduling and to resolve any transportation-related issues.
• Responsible for maintaining the shipment database updated on a daily basis with accurate information by sales order line, providing support and shipment-related information to internal departments and Corporate as required, and generating logistics performance reports.
• Reviews, validates, approves, and enters freight service invoices associated with daily shipments, ensuring accurate cost control.
• Provide daily oversight of the Traffic and Shipping Coordinator, assigns and follows up on operational tasks, and reports any non-conformances to the immediate Manager, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and internal procedures.
