The primary purpose of the position is to provide plant-wide, hands-on technical assistance to the manufacturing and quality work centers with a strong focus on CNC processes. This will include but not be limited to: On the floor troubleshooting to keep production running efficiently, New part process development, analysis and improvement to existing processes to reduce required labor and lead time, New process transition, new and existing process training, delivering technical guidance for operators and quality inspectors, support CNC programmers, technical assistance on all training, Specific part number performance improvement, developing work instructions.


  • Provide direct hands on technical support on the CNC shop floor to resolve issues.
  • Troubleshoot CNC machining issues (setup issues, tool wear, breakage, chatter, dimensional deviations, fixture issues, feed/speed mismatch, etc.)  
  • Analyze existing CNC programs, toolpaths to identify improvement opportunities.       
  • Engineering interpretation, to give the correct support to production.     
  • Support New Process Development.       
  • Development of CAD drawings.   
  • Assist in validating new CNC processes through First run, and serial runs.       
  • Create a submit presentation.       
  • Manage routing updates, rework SMI modifications, and process changes using structured procedures         
  • Support on interpretation of measurements special requirements, and determine the measures necessary to buy off the part      
  • Create and update manufacturing instructions and planning details in AS400 (or equivalent ERP system).      
  • Disposition of non-conforming parts through root cause analysis.     
  • Strong knowledge about GD&T and measurement equipment.

Experiencia y requisitos

Bachelor’s degree on Mechanical Eng, Aerospace Eng, Industrial Eng. or related areas required. Minimum 4–5 years of hands on engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within machining, CNC operations, sheet metal fabrication related to aerospace and precision manufacturing. English proficient +80% (written and oral skills)

Experience in interpreting engineering blueprints, customer specifications, technical data packages, Solid understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and its application in machining, inspection, and process validation. problem solving methodologies, Experience in AS9100/ISO‑regulated environments is a plus.
