- Reporting to the Technology Manager, the NPI Engineer manages the process of bringing new products from design to manufacturing into Backplanes business unit. This involves close collaboration with design, engineering, and production teams to ensure smooth product launches, optimized processes, and cost-effective production. They validate designs, coordinate prototyping, and resolve production issues, ensuring products meet quality standards
- Coordinate with R&D New Products Developments groups to develop strategies for new products.
- Provide engineering support for all activities in product development process.
- Prepare project timelines and identify all resources requirements and evaluate financials for manufacturing processes.
- Monitor status of all new products and ensure effective execution of projects according to required policies, procedures and government regulations.
- Prepare plans for all NPI projects and coordinate with all stakeholders and ensure good quality products.
- Coordinate with engineering and product management departments and develop and implement manufacturing plan for products.
- Assist Manufacturing department and manage communication across all departments.
- Monitor operations of product and evaluate designs and ensure adherence to all design and manufacture principles.
- Develop and implement efficient material handling, flow strategies and always maintain safe and manufacturing processes.
- Analyze and recommend corrective action in case of any design failure.
- Coordinate with senior management and maintain knowledge on product status and prepare appropriate reports.
- Manage and coordinate technical projects, ensuring successful implementation and customer satisfaction.
Experiencia y requisitos
- Strong analytical and statistical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge and experience of semiautomatic manufacturing processes.
- 3+ Years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in English, speaking and writing.
- Systematic thinking, leadership, and management skills.
- Team player and excellent interpersonal skills.
