The Sr. Supply Chain Master Data Specialist (SAP) will be responsible for managing and maintaining critical master data in SAP for SOCM.

This role will focus on ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of data such as material master extensions, bills of materials (BOMs), production versions, procurement setups, and translation Goods volumes (NPI, Transfers, Services, etc) into components requirements. The role will also include troubleshooting and resolving master data issues post-go-live, in coordination with the Master Data Service Center (MSC) Headquarters.

The MSC Sr Specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for all data management related to Production Transfer to Operation Center (PTOC) activities, working closely with local operations and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment with operational needs.

  • Manage and maintain SAP master data related to materials, BOMs, work centers, production routings, procurement, and pricing within the Mexico OC.
  • Lead the extension of PTOC-related materials to Mexico, ensuring intercompany sourcing setup and BOM assignments for Plant.
  • Ensure the accurate setup of production versions, work centers, routing, and incoming goods receipt inspection processes.
  • Manage local definitions for MRP-relevant fields such as purchasing groups, safety stocks, planning calendars, and material status.
  • Ensure standard price calculations and IC pricing are maintained as per guidelines from the HQ.
  • Act as the local point of contact for troubleshooting SAP master data issues via the MSC HQ service desk (SNOW).
  • Collaborate with the MSC HQ team to align local data requirements with global standards and guidelines.
  • Provide training to local team members on SOP-232 and other relevant procedures for production transfer and master data management.
  • Support local procurement teams with third-party direct procurement setup in SAP.
  • Operations NPI, transfers (Goods and components), materials transitions and Ramp up /Down for smooth transitions.

Experiencia y requisitos

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain, master data management, or SAP system management, ideally within a manufacturing environment.

• Strong experience in SAP (material master, BOM, routing, and production data management).

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot data issues in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with operations, procurement, and global teams.

• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data management.

• Strong data analytics.

• English advanced.
