What You Will Do 

  • Develop and maintain quality systems, control plans, and inspection methods to ensure compliance of aerospace components and assemblies.  
  • Lead product and process quality activities, including risk management using core tools (PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow, Control Plans, PPAP).  
  • Define and execute validation and test strategies in collaboration with design engineering to ensure product reliability and performance.  
  • Drive root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, and escape management for internal and customer-reported issues.  
  • Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and contractual requirements, including change management and work transfers.  
  • Implement engineering changes and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process capability. 
  • Act as a key quality representative within cross-functional aerospace programs.  
  • Promote a proactive, zero-defect culture and continuous improvement mindset.  
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, regulated environment. 

Experiencia y requisitos

Qualifications You Must Have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, or related).  
  • 5+ years of experience in quality engineering within aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing.  
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace quality standards and core quality tools (PFMEA, MSA, PPAP, etc.).  
  • Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies. 
  • Proficient Conversational and written English required, needs to be able to efficiently communicate with corporate leaders both in person and in reports/via email. 

 

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with aerospace standards (e.g., AS9100, NADCAP). 
  • Background in inspection technologies, advanced quality planning, and continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma). 
  • Visa
  • Experience in composites (metalic core, prepreg material).
