Supervisor de Control de Calidad

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Electronics, Mechatronics, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role within the aerospace industry.
• Experience in manufacturing processes for cables, harnesses, and panels.
• Proven experience in personnel management and leadership of quality inspection teams.
• Knowledge of AS9100 quality management system.
• Knowledge of FAI / FAIR generation, review, and evaluation.
• Experience using Net-Inspect for the management and follow-up of First Article Inspection reports.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong communication skills with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
• Experience in customer service or direct communication with customers/suppliers.
• Knowledge of MRB, RMAs, and RTVs processes.
• Knowledge of problem-solving tools, including 8D and RCCA.
• Experience reading and interpreting drawings/blueprints.
• Experience using measurement tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, resolve conflicts, and follow up on operational priorities.
• Fluent conversational English.

Main Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead the quality inspection team.
• Ensure compliance with quality system requirements and applicable standards.
• Follow up on nonconforming product, including activities related to MRB, RMA, and RTV.
• Coordinate containment actions, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Review, evaluate, and follow up on FAIs / FAIRs, ensuring compliance with applicable requirements.
• Use Net-Inspect for the management, review, and follow-up of First Article Inspections when applicable.
• Maintain effective communication with customers, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Support audits, quality investigations, and area metrics follow-up.
• Ensure proper interpretation of drawings, acceptance criteria, and use of measurement tools.
• Promote teamwork, operational discipline, and continuous improvement within the Quality area.
