Supplier Engineer

GENERIC DESCRIPTION.

Buyer with Technical Background that will work with DEV/NPI Engineering, Suppliers and AOC Materials Team in the quoting, procuring and Vendor set up for New Product Introduction, Component tooling changes and component rev changes.

Buyer will also be required to work with materials production team for line capacity prioritization at Suppliers and line scheduling for NPI Qualification on the production lines.

Provide and update weekly NPI/Dev meetings.

JOB RESPONSABILITIES.      

·      Quote, procure and Support NPI/Dev Engineering to set up Material Pipeline

·      Understand and action Vendor Set up, Creating Purchase Orders, ensuring correct shipping method, making sure product is received and Supplier invoices are cleared to pay.

·      Support the Supplier with ducumentation and testing requirements.

·      Provide and follow up on feedback from Engineering to Supplier

·      Attend and update weekly NPI/DEV meeting’s on expected delivery and qualification status on new tooling.

·      Required to help with component rev updates, tooling changes and alternate part qualification.

·      May be required to help with change from eternal buy to internal make for AOC Engines

·      Various other duties as required.
