Descripción y detalle de las actividades

Job Objective

Ensure the efficient, safe and profitable operation of the vehicle fleet and logistics processes, through the correct management of resources, regulatory compliance in Mexico and the United States, and control of transportation costs, guaranteeing operational continuity and compliance with delivery times.


Main functions

• Oversee the availability, allocation and efficient use of TIMSA's fleet.

• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure continuous operation.

• Implement actions to optimize performance and reduce downtime

• Guarantee the timely payment of taxes, rights and vehicle obligations in both countries.

• Ensure compliance with current transport regulations

• Keep the legal documentation required for the cross-border operation up to date

• Manage driver's licenses, license plates, circulation cards, and permits

• Coordinate and follow up on emissions tests and vehicle verifications

• Coordinate the logistics of oversized or special cargo

• Process required permits with the corresponding authorities

• Ensure compliance with safety and transport regulations for this type of cargo

• Prepare and analyze local transportation cost reports

• Identify opportunities for savings and operational efficiencies

• Track key indicators in the area, such as cost per trip, fuel consumption, and delivery times, among others.

• Coordinate with internal areas (warehouse, purchasing operations) to ensure logistics flow.

• Supervise operational personnel related to transportation and logistics

Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain or engineering in order to

• 3 to 5 years of experience in the areas of traffic, transport or logistics

• Verifiable experience in vehicle fleet management, land transportation coordination

• (preferably cross-border Mexico-USA)

• Control and analysis of logistics costs
