POSITION SUMMARY:

Primarily responsible for the input, maintenance, and accuracy of the Configuration Management systems.

PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Develop & maintain configuration models based on paper order form, ENG spec sheets, engineering matrices, configuration No-Go’s, pricing, BOM structure. Testing models for go live to internal/external customers.

· Develop the configured BOM for new products as the primary documentation that supports the construction of the Configurator.

· Responsible for extensive ERP functions – Item Master/ Branch Plant, Bill of Materials and areas associated with Configuration Management.

· Review and implement DCN’s.

· Open/close part numbers, set up prompt features for Customer Service and Product Management.

· Investigate and correct part number issues & qty’s for backflushing and BOM issues.

· Responsible for maintaining systems ticket queue for associated department functions.

· Investigate and resolve system related questions from Customer Service and Manufacturing in relation to configuration management.

· Working closely with TJ, Nashville, Canada & Australia facilities as well as Fresno: IT, Customer Service, Product Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing and Finance.

· Supporting Global Team Projects/Tasks.

· Support the implementation of new systems and processes within the Configuration Management group.
