Descripción y detalle de las actividades
• Understand and apply policies and procedures related to Quality Systems, ISO 13485, Environmental Management System (ISO 14001), Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001), and any other systems required for company operations.
• Develop, implement, and control procedures for Environmental Protection and Environmental Improvement.
• May be responsible for the Joint Safety and Hygiene Committee.
• Maintain an updated Plant contingency plan in coordination with Federal, State, and Municipal authorities, establishing Emergency Response Plans.
• Obtain and update operating permits with the corresponding government agencies.
• Recommend and oversee the purchase of safety materials and equipment for different areas of the Company.
• Audit measures and controls required by legal regulations, creating and managing related documentation.
• Communicate policies, internal procedures, and government regulations to Plant personnel and Corporate.
• Regulate the purchase and use of hazardous materials, as well as ensure proper disposal of hazardous waste generated within the Plant.
• Conduct performance evaluations of direct reports and recommend appropriate development plans.
• Validate and approve Environmental Function Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Experiencia y requisitos
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Environmental Management and Occupational Health & Safety.
• Experience working in cleanroom environments is preferred.
• Certification as a Lead or Internal Auditor in a Safety, Environmental, or Quality Management System.
• Experience with CAD or other drafting software (preferred).
• Knowledge of plant maintenance systems such as power supply, water systems, HVAC, compressed air, etc.
• Strong computer skills required, including but not limited to Windows, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in speaking, understanding, reading, and writing in English.
